Dear all,
Peace to our lovely island Jersey,
I hope this email finds you all well. Jersey, please let's wake up and do the right thing. We keep on saying, we are putting kids first however, the action taken is not inline with the agenda. My child is a prime example, not in direct contact with Covid however, his friends are isolating so he's joining in.
Haven't we learnt our lesson? We are creating more children with mental health and now kids they are becoming lazy and wanting to join in with isolation and it is the education department which is creating all of this in feeding the mind with fear. Once we take care of our well-being everything else will fall into place. Fear is the pain before the wound. One thing which we have noticed, norovirus, flu and hay fever they have all disappeared? Where did they go?
Don't we trust the vaccination? With my experience we need at least 10 years for the vaccination to work effectively therefore, it's still a working progress. Are we also going to vaccinate every virus ? What will happen to our natural immune system which fights all these virus' naturally? The Government of Jersey had published about overuse of antibiotics that wasn't effective anymore, we have to stop ourselves heading in that direction and build our immune system.
Personally I had malaria more than 10 times. Have I been to a doctor. No, I cannot remember when my last trip was. I am confident of my health and I don't hand over my health to the doctor because my health is my responsibility. Health is wealth and it's priceless. I trust and believe in my immune system. I feed it with goodness.
Trusting the experts? Are they not the experts who say that apple is good and in few years down the line they say no a study shows apple isn't good? Please let's change our plans, never our goals. Focus on positive and not the negatives. We can all stand up to this and take good decision for all.
It's very clear, that Covid is a devil and it's human who are feeding this devil as everything now is linked to it and of course by doing this the strength is maximized. Hay fever, fever, runny nose etc, let's blame it on Covid. Last week it was very clear that the pollen was very high and people were sneezing and had runny nose with itchy throat. Certainly, we must keep healthy and keep on check at all times.
We have fallen, we broke and we have failed before but now we have to rise, heal and overcome, and learn how to live with the current situation. It is challenging however, We may have to fight a battle more than once to win it.
Yesterday I went around the town, it was shocking to see all empty shop spaces and all business closed? Is this our future? Who's leading the island? The Devil Covid or our lovely leaders? We must stand firm, we find a way or make one.
Having been brought up in Tanzania, we had and still have all sorts of viruses, it wasn't easy however, we had to accept and learn how to be live with it. If this virus is here for another 10 years? Are we going to keep on locking people away ? It's inhuman and totally unacceptable to the kids and to the Islanders. We have all been so blessed in western countries due to our Democratic values but honestly now I feel that theres a massive shift of agenda and others have adopted that from us and progressing. Children are our future nation and will be taking this islands progress to the next level. A lion lives in the heart of every brave person so let's act.
Now it's clear that all these decisions which are taken blindly it's just pushing along without consideration e.g traffic lights, passport vaccination ( guidelines aren't clear) etc . It's about time we step up to our responsibility, decisions should be more meaningful and justifiable.
If we put our kids first, then perhaps some sort of facility e.g nurse in school for kids to be tested, so they don't have to isolate unnecessary? that might be an optional.
We cannot move on, if we are standing still. Let's work together to tackle this. I recall the Nigerian's leaders comment on Covid "We can revive the economy however, the challenging part is to how do we revive the people"
" We are either by God/Divine Power or marked by the beasts" Revelation 13-16 It's our choice.
All the very best, Together, we are stronger,
