Name: Gary Allen Good Evening

I really can't understand why we would continue to let French fishing boats up to our 3 mile limit (Jersey mainland) when Jersey gets next to nothing in return, and our shellfish/fish stocks continue to decline. Our 3 mile limit should be taken from the outer reefs, as these are within Jersey territory. However, as a bargaining tool we should maybe let French vessels (those with track record) up to a 6 mile limit from Jersey mainland like Guernsey. In return Jersey should be granted full unhindered access (without paperwork) to eu markets via France for fishermen and shellfish exporters alike.

Jersey authorities should continue to be responsible for fishing regs and issuing fishing permits to the French Fishermen within all our territorial waters.
