Name: Jason Bonhomme

I have been a full-time fisherman for the last 28 years and have represented the JFA as a comity member. For the last 15 years representing the east of the island. I have played a large part in the divisions made with and alongside our aquaculture sector and we have made lots of good changes over the years my main concern is our sovereignty for our local waters i.e. the three-mile limit around our outlying reefs. I personally think we should have an exclusive 6mile limit around all our land and reefs. But I know full well this is impossible to achieve but there is no reason the three mile limit should not be plain sailing there is plenty of evidence in our history books that states these reefs belong to jersey /Britain and should never be lost in this debate about trade
