Dear Elected Representatives,

I have not contacted every Member, as a long-standing resident of St Saviour I have contacted you specifically.

Here attached is a photo from Terry le Main. It purports to show the plans for Overdale. Here is a quote from a very senior member of the Island's Community:

I agree with your thoughts. I am generally not a conspiracy theorist but in this case, the jury is out.

The information available on the website is obscure and complex, almost as if we are discussing a defence procurement not a general hospital.

I have not located any significant drawings not site surveys, nor cost information that could be subject to an audit. Little or no information as to how the tender and award system was undertaken nor moderated. In any event since the contract was awarded prior to site selection, how could a fair price and comparison be undertaken?

I would not normally use such a word as malevolent but everything in this process is clouded in some level of secrecy which leave me with only one logical conclusion.

I wonder whether you have noticed that these exalted plans culminate in an expensive hospital surrounding the Crematorium?

This story is scandalous for a host of reasons. I wonder what John Witherow of the Times or Fran Unsworth of the BBC etc. etc. would make of this?

It is not too late to abandon this lunacy in favour of Warwick Farm - which has already been independently accredited above Overdale.

Please address the secrecy, and restore some sanity - for all our sakes... Truly

Michael Officer
