For what it's worth, I don't believe Overdale is the right place. It's a nightmare to get to at the best of times but in winter with wet/icy roads you are asking for trouble. It's too far out of town for walk ins so everyone will need transport up there (unless you're fit, and you wouldn't need hospital if that was the case!). The cost of putting it there is out of control. Sorry but people's park seems so obvious and far easier to build from scratch. Just because 2,000 people objected doesn't mean the rest of the population did! The plans for people's park were good. Why did the silent majority lose out to the militant vocal minority? Maybe ask planning what they will approve before even thinking about it as they hold all the power anyway!
