A new hospital is much needed and must be a general hospital up to the latest standards. It must be able to cater for our islands growing and aging population.
The current proposal for the new site at Overdale is totally the wrong place, will cause massive problems during construction and general use and will cost the island way too much money that the island doesn't have so we will have to have a loan and out children will have to repay that loan over time.
The public and all healthcare workers bust be listened to about their ideas, thoughts and needs. We need this hospital to stand out for all the right reasons not for wrong reasons.
In summary, the Overdale site must be scrapped and a more appropriate site chosen, the project must be really well thought through and make the island proud!
