I am so very frustrated with the Government with the whole hospital fiasco. Extremely annoyed that £50m of tax payers money (my money!) has been wasted already for nothing. Now we are looking to borrow £800m to build a new hospital on the top of a hill where the access route can't even be sorted out. I have lost total faith in the government and suspect the cost will escalate to £1bn or more because you can't organize anything within budget. It's the people in the hospital that count and we can't even staff the existing hospital and mental health facilities now and that's without a new hospital. We should just refurbish the existing hospital and be done with it. No more dithering please.
You need to remember this is our tax payer money which is hard earned especially for those of us that are middle income earners and we are the ones who get squeezed all the time. Rich don't pay enough tax and the less well off get hand outs.
