The Panel is keen to hear from stakeholders in the construction, supplier and services sectors, as well as industry representatives and associated professionals, in relation to the procurement of work on projects within the Programme. The Panel would therefore be grateful for your responses to the following questions:

  1. Please can you tell us whether you attended the Construction and Supplier Forum facilitated by the Programme team in November 2023?

Yes we attended this on Monday 6 November 2023, at The Royal Yacht Hotel. We also attended an event at the RYH on 14 May 2024.

And a NHF Designer Opportunities forum at the Studio, 28-30 the Parade on 11 July 2024.

  • Did you provide feedback about procurement contracts, notice periods and timescales for undertaking works on the Programme?

N/a

  • If so, have you received any follow-up communications or engagement since this event?

The 14 may 20204 and 11 July 2024 events were good updates. We were also contacted by the NHF team alerting us to forthcoming tenders for project work.

  1. Have you been made aware of opportunities to engage with projects within the Programme on the Government's Proactis online portal?
  • If so, have you expressed interest in engaging with any projects related to the Programme through the Proactis online portal?

Yes:

Mulcaster House FM Hub Reconfiguration, ITT bid submitted 20 June 2024. No response, as yet.

Westmount Terrace Stage 2 Feasibility (4 week project), ITT bid submitted June 2024. Project completion was scheduled for 12 August. No response, as yet.

These we both very demanding bids, which took considerable time and effort.

  1. Have you engaged directly with the Programme team regarding opportunities to undertake works on projects as part of the Programme?

Yes, we have suggested a development were involved in which would be suitable for key worker accommodation. No response, as yet.

  1. Do you feel that you understand how contractors are being procured to undertake works on the Programme?

Not really.
