Good evening, I want the choice of whether I use cash or card, a choice that should be there for all of us. I'm happy to pay for petrol and large items by card but my weekly spending is cash taken out of ATM so I know how much I've got and can budget. Many people find this difficult, it's very easy to just keep swiping a card which will lead to debt and anxiety. We're told it speeds thing up but many times I get stuck behind customers whose card won't work, phone is slow or the shop system down. Also my cash is still worth the same amount when it changes hands, no sum up or machine costs and no bank charges . It's important for children to use

cash and understand its value, something they'll never do with a card. I want to be able to give them cash to buy an ice cream and have it for tooth fairy money and birthday money. I have decided to avoid all places that don't offer the choice. I notice that many places in the UK that went cashless have now changed their mind due to high bank charges for card use and loosing customers. Cashless means control by the bank, money is an energy and for it to flow freely it has to be our choice.

Thank you, Jeni
