I feel bad for old people when businesses don't accept cash and they might not be used to paying by card. Also not all young people have a way to pay digitally. Cash also helps support hospitality workers with tips.
I think all businesses should be encouraged to accept cash, although I don't think they should be forced to.
I definitely don't think we should get rid of cash unless there will be government provided bank accounts for all Jersey residents.
