About
The establishment of the Jersey Development Company.
Terms of reference
- To consider the proposal to establish the States of Jersey Development Company Limited.
- To establish whether the structure and processes proposed in the revised draft proposition (P.79/2010), due to be debated on the 19th July 2010 for new arrangements for property and infrastructure regeneration would be appropriate, with particular regard to:
- The proposed scope, role and remit of the Jersey Development Company;
- To assess whether the accepted recommendations made in S.R.9/2010 have been followed and implemented by the Council of Ministers, with particular regard to:
- Recommendation 2.11 “Prior to the debate, the Chief Minister should ensure that the proposition is amended to show, without any room for doubt, that the Jersey Development Company would not be the same as the current Waterfront Enterprise Board”.
- To examine any further issues relating to the topic that may arise in the course of the Scrutiny Review and which the Panel considers relevant.
