REPORT

On 11th May 2023, the Chief Minister made a Ministerial Decision delegating certain of her functions under Articles 28, 30 and 30A of the States of Jersey Law 2005 (see Decision reference MD-CM-2023-232, available at www.gov.je).

On 7th February 2023, the Chief Minister appointed Deputy M. E. Millar and Deputy I.J Gorst as Assistant Chief Ministers (MD-CM-2023-53). This Ministerial Decision also confirmed the Chief Minister's intention to delegate financial services to Deputy Millar  and   Deputy   Gorst  once  the  legal  transfer  to  the  Chief  Minister  had  been confirmed.

The Chief Minister made the States of Jersey (Transfer of Financial Services Functions – External Relations to Chief Minister) Order 2023 on 5th April 2023. The Order is now effective.

On 17th April 2023, the Chief Minister made a Ministerial Decision delegating certain of her functions under Articles 28, 30 and 30A of the States of Jersey Law 2005.

The terms of the delegations, and the legislation under which those delegations were made, were recorded in a Report attached to the Ministerial Decision.
