Question

Given the suspension of the development of the Jersey Care Model, will the Minister advise what, if any, impact this has had on the development of strategies for Cancer and Dementia care in Jersey?

Answer

The pause of the JCM has had no negative impact on the development of the strategies for cancer and dementia care in Jersey. During the pause, we have continued those services which are currently being provided to patients under this framework as well as work to deliver the dementia strategy and pathway, and the cancer strategy.

Additional information

Funding for this work will be put forward for consideration by the States Assembly as part of the Government Plan process.
