REPORT

On 5th February 2024, the Minister for Children and Education made a Ministerial Decision delegating certain of his functions under Articles 28, 30 and 30A of the States  of  Jersey  Law  2005  (see  Decision  reference  MD-CED-2024-48, available  at www.gov.je).

The  terms  of  the  delegations,  and  the  legislation  under  which  those  delegations were made, were recorded in a Report attached to the Ministerial Decision, as shown below   _____________________________________________________________________

Delegate:

Deputy Malcolm Ferey of St. Saviour

Functions delegated:

Political responsibility for Children's Social Care, CAMHS and Skills Jersey

Scope of delegation:

In the event that the Minister is unavailable or out of the Island, the Minister delegated the functions listed above.

 

Delegate:

Deputy Carina Alves of St. Helier Central

Functions delegated:

Political  responsibility  for  all  aspects  of  the  Education  Directorate within the Children, Young People, Education and Skills Department.

Scope of delegation:

In the event that Assistant Minister Robert Ward of St. Helier Central is unavailable or out of the Island, the Minister delegated the functions and legislation as detailed above.
