This week's States Meeting

The next meeting of the States Assembly will commence tomorrow, Tuesday 11 May, at 9:30am. The entire meeting will be broadcast live using Microsoft Teams via the following links:
The first item for the States Assembly will be up to two hours and 20 minutes of oral questions with notice, details of which can be found on page six of the Order Paper. The following Ministers will then answer oral questions without notice for 15 minutes each:

The Minister for External Relations and Financial Services, Senator Ian Gorst
The Chief Minister, Senator John Le Fondré
After question time, the Assistant Chief Minister, Deputy Carolyn Labey, will make a statement in relation to the Island Identity Project. This will be followed by a statement from the Minister for the Environment, Deputy John Young, regarding fishing licences issued under the UK/EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA). A notification when each debate begins, a summary of the proposal and the results of each debate will be shared on the States Assembly Twitter and Facebook pages throughout the meeting, which is expected to extend beyond Tuesday.
