1 P A GE 2, PARAGRAPH (a) –
In paragraph (a)(iv) after the words"pages 19 to 21" insert the words –
"except that after success criterion (ii) in Objective 2 on page 19 there shall be inserted the following new success criteria (and subsequent success criteria renumbered accordingly) –

DEPUTY C.J. SCOTT WARREN OF ST. SAVIOUR
REPORT
In the Service Analysis of Health and Social Services, under the Financial Summary for Medical Services, schemes to reduce hospital acquired infection are included within a list of priorities for identified growth monies.
Whilst measures have already been put in place to reduce the incidents of hospital acquired infections, I believe that it is right to emphasize this important matter. I am therefore proposing an additional criterion under Objective 2.
Financial and manpower implications
The financial and manpower implications arising from the continued reduction in the number of hospital acquired infections have already been accounted for in the Health and Social Services Department's growth funding figures.
