1 PAGE 2, PARAGRAPH (a) –
In Appendix 1 on page 4 of the amendment, in paragraph 8.55, for the word "provide" substitute the word "include" and for the first bullet point substitute the following bullet point –
safe facilities, both on and off-road, which link centres of population and community facilities, particularly schools, in the east of the Island with each other and which provide a linear route to St. Helier ; and'.

In Appendix 1 on page 4 of the amendment, in paragraph 8.58, for the words

Amendment (1)
This amendment allows for the possibility that it may be simpler, more cost-effective and feasible to have safe routes for cycling which are on-road as well as off-road as part of the network proposed in the Deputy of Grouville 's amendment.
Amendment (2)
This is a tidying-up amendment, allowing the use of the financial contributions not to be restricted to the main route or routes but also to other linked facilities in the spirit her amendment.
Amendment (3)
This is a tidying-up amendment, allowing the use of States funding not to be restricted to work on a cycle path or paths, but also to on-road facilities in the spirit of her amendment.
Amendment (4)
This is a tidying-up amendment, allowing the use of the financial contributions not to be restricted to the main route or routes but also to other linked facilities likewise I believe, in the spirit of the Deputy 's amendment.
Financial and manpower implications
There are no additional financial or manpower implications arising from this amendment to the nineteenth amendment.
