REPORT
Since lodging my amendment it has been brought to my attention that the method of accounting for the majority of income tax receipts on a prior year basis means that the majority of the additional receipts generated by changes to the higher rate of income tax in the 2016 Budget would not be treated as States income until 2017. In order to correct this technicality I have therefore amended the table to show the revised profile of the receipt of the income over the 2 year period.
Financial and manpower implications
This amendment to my amendment re-profiles the receipt of the additional income and although there is a cash flow impact for 2016 it has no financial implications over the total 2 year period. There are no manpower implications.
