REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

Land transaction –

1. The rescinding of his decision of 8th July 2008 (ref. MD-PH-2008-0057) to sell the Mont Mado Shed Site to the highest tenderer of the tenders received on 2nd July 2008.
2. The sale of the Mont Mado Shed Site to the highest tenderer – tenders having been received on 18th March 2009, with each party to be responsible for its own legal fees in passing contract before the Royal Court.
3. The owners of "Corner Cottage" and "Eileenid Villas", which adjoin the Mont Mado Shed Site, being party to the contract of sale of the site to the highest tenderer, in order to ratify boundary and drainage arrangements.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
