  1. THE FIRE HOUSE, WESTERN FIRE STATION, LA ROUTE DES QUENNEVAIS, ST. BRELADE – LEASE.

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

  1. Land transaction –
  1. A29 Albert Pier – lease to Boatfayre Limited for a term of 3 years, 2 months with effect from 1st November 2007.
  2. E43 Elizabeth Terminal – lease to Argent Enterprises Limited for a term of 2 years, 11 months with effect from 1st August 2008.
  3. N20 New North Quay – lease to George Troy & Sons Limited for a term of 5 years with a break option after 3 years with effect from 1st April 2008.
  4. S08 South Pier – lease to D.K. Collins Marine Limited for a term of 9 years with effect from 1st July 2006.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

For the Public of the Island to lease out The Supplement Store, Fort Regent, St. Helier .

The lease shall be for a fixed period of 9 years, with effect from 1st September 2009, at a rental of £5,000 per annum subject to review in line with the JRPI on the third and sixth anniversary of the commencement date.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –

Under the Assisted House Purchase Scheme, the sale by the Public of Le Belon, 2 Le Clos Vallois, Le Passage, St. Lawrence , in consideration of the payment of the outstanding Assisted House Purchase loan balance at the time of passing contract.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. Land transaction –
  1. For the Public to lease out The Fire House, Western Fire Station, La Route des Quennevais, St. Brelade .

The lease shall be for a period of 3 years with effect from 1st October 2009 at a rental of £1,150 per month, subject to annual review in accordance with the Jersey Retail Price Index.

  1. To rescind MD-PH-2009-0056.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
