  3. JEC SUBSTATION, FIELD 91A, BELLE VUE, LA ROUTE DES QUENNEVAIS, ST. BRELADE – LEASE

REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

  1. Land transaction –
  1. To approve the granting of a 99 year lease and wayleave to Jersey Electricity Plc. for an area of land at Le Squez.
  2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. To acquire, on behalf of the Public, a strip of land adjoining the north- east  of  La  Rue  de  la  Sergente,   St. Brelade ,  and  bordering  the residential developments known as Le Champ près de l'Eglise and Le Clos de la Gare,  the  land  comprising  a  pavement,  planters,  bus shelter and entranceways, the acquisition being at nil cost, but subject to payment by the Public of the vendor's reasonable costs associated with passing contract through Royal Court.
  2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
