REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

  1. Land transaction –
  1. To acquire  a strip of land  on  the  north-east  side of  La  Route  es Nouaux, the purpose of which is to widen the existing pavement. This requirement  formed  part  of  the  Planning  approval  under  permit P/2009/0544. Although that permit states that the land isto be ceded to the parish, this is not correct, and it should have stated to the Public'. The land isto be transferred at nil cost to the Public.
  2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. To acquire an area of land for a footway/cycleway co-extensive with the south-eastern boundary of the redeveloped De La Mare Florist site, once completed to the satisfaction of Transport and Technical Services.
  2. To confirm in the same contract the boundary between the site and the footway/cycleway.
  3. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

  1. To authorise Jersey Property Holdings, on behalf of the Public, to enter into a 9 year lease for the 1st Floor offices at 3 St. Andrew's Place, Charing Cross, St. Helier , with effect from  29th September 2014, under the terms set out in the accompanying report.
  2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
