LAND TRANSACTIONS UNDER STANDING ORDER 168(3) –

1. LAND ADJACENT TO HALCYON HOUSE, WEST HILL, ST. HELIER – SALE OF LAND;
2. PUBLIC REGISTRY OFFICE, ROYAL SQUARE, ST. HELIER – LEASE RENEWAL;
3. JERSEY ARCHIVE CENTRE, CLARENCE ROAD, ST. HELIER – LEASE RENEWAL.

2 REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

1. Land transaction –

1. To approve  the  sale  of  an  area  of  land  measuring  approximately 1,000 square feet, adjacent to Halcyon House.
2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

2. Land transaction –

1. To enter into a new 9 year lease for the Public Registry Office in the Royal Square with effect from 1st August 2014.
2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

3. Land transaction –

1. To enter into a new 99 year ground lease with Jersey Heritage Trust for the Jersey Archive Centre in Clarence Road, St. Helier .
2. To confirm  the above  decision after  giving  the  States  15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
