LAND TRANSACTIONS UNDER STANDING ORDER 168(3) – MAISON D'AZETTE (1 TO 18),

LA GRANDE ROUTE DE LA CÔTE, ST. CLEMENT – PROPOSED CONVERSION OF LONG LEASEHOLDS TO FLYING FREEHOLD

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

Land transaction –

1. To set up a Flying Freehold Association for the property known as "Maison D'Azette (1 to 18), La Grande Route de la Côte, St. Clement ", comprising 18 apartments, plus garages and stores, together with the communal land.
2. To provide an option to each existing Leaseholder at the said property to convert  their  leasehold  interest  in their  apartment  to flying  freehold ownership, for a consideration as set out in the accompanying report.
3. To arrange for the surveyors' and legal costs associated with setting up the Flying Freehold Association to be met by the Public, with the Leaseholders to meet their own legal costs in becoming co-owners of the Flying Freehold Association.
4. To confirm the above decision after giving the States 15 working days' notice of the transaction, and to cause the transaction to be completed.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
