REPORT
Background
The Minister for Treasury and Resources has authority under the Public Finances (Jersey) Law 2019 to represent the States of Jersey as shareholder of the following wholly and majority owned States-owned entities: -
Andium Homes Limited
Jersey Electricity Plc
Jersey Post International Limited
JT Group Limited
Ports of Jersey Limited
The Jersey New Waterworks Company Limited
The States of Jersey Development Company Limited.
The Minister has delegated to her Assistant Minister certain functions, including the Minister's responsibility in respect of the States-owned entities in accordance with Article 53 of the Public Finances (Jersey) Law 2019.
Report
The Assistant Minister for Treasury and Resources has approved for presentation to the States Assembly the 2020 Annual Reports and Accounts of the States-owned entities in order to maintain openness and transparency with regard to the management of the States' assets.
