REPORT
Decision(s): Under Article 18(4) of the Public Finances (Jersey) Law 2019 (the Law), the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States, and having consulted with any relevant Minister under Article 18(5) of the Law; that she has agreed to the following –

After the expiry of 4 weeks following the presentation to the States of these transfers, the Minister hereby authorises the Treasurer of the States to action the transfers outlined in the table above.
Background
The Bailiff 's Chambers has experienced a higher than typical volume of Court cases in 2021 and as a result are expected to exceed the allocated budget of £278,000. Conversely the Judicial Greffe have significantly underspent in 2021 and the Judicial Greffier has agreed to make available to the Bailiff 's Chambers up to £150,000 for the Department not to exceed expenditure limits.
The practice of transferring C&CC budgets has been permitted historically in recognition of the volatility that can occur with C&CC activity between departments.
