REPORT

On  25  July  2022,  the  Minister  for  Social  Security  made  a  Ministerial  Decision delegating certain of her functions under Articles 28, 30 and 30A of the States of Jersey Law 2005 (see Decision reference MD-SOSEC-2022-487, available at www.gov.je).

The terms of the delegations, and the legislation under which those delegations were made, were recorded in a Report attached to the Ministerial Decision, as shown below –

 

Delegate:

Deputy M. R. Ferey of St. Saviour

Functions delegated:

The Minister for Social Security decided to appoint Deputy M. R. Ferey of  St.  Saviour  as  Assistant  Minister  for  Social  Security,  with responsibility for the charitable sector.

Scope of delegation:

In addition, the Minister for Social Security decided to delegate all powers and functions conferred upon or vested in her, including the power to make enactments and all other areas where the Minister has authority to act, to Deputy Ferey , to be exercised in the event that she is temporarily absent or unavailable.
