The Council of Ministers accepts this amendment.
The Council of Ministers accepts this amendment of the Deputy of St. Ouen and the principles which it promotes. The Council has, as the Deputy of St. Ouen highlights, added additional wording to paragraph (b) of th proposition to emphasise its commitment to constrain spending to within the approved levels.
The Council has provided every opportunity for scrutiny involvement in business planning over the last 2 years and will continue to assist scrutiny in developing an understanding of the processes.
The Council of Ministers therefore urges members to accept this amendment of the Deputy of St. Ouen during the debate.
