Presented to the States on 11th October 2019 by the Minister for Social Security

STATES GREFFE

2019  P.54 Com.

COMMENTS The Minister will support this Proposition (P.54/2019).

The Minister is grateful for the Deputy 's support for her proposal to extend family- friendly employment rights (P.100/2019), and fully appreciates the call for a review of the legislation after an appropriate period of time. The Minister agrees that a 2-year period (as amended by the Deputy ) should give many employees, employers and their representatives, sufficient time to experience parental leave in operation and to consider the implications.
