THE STATES assembled for a meeting with the members of the Standing Committee of the North Atlantic Assembly.

The   Bailiff  welcomed  the  President  of  the  Assembly,  the Hon. Jack Brooks, on behalf of the States and the people of Jersey. The President of the Assembly thanked the Bailiff for the welcome.

Dr. Simon Lunn, the Director of Committees and Studies of the North Atlantic Assembly, addressed the Meeting on the current state of affairs within the Atlantic Alliance from both a political and a military viewpoint.

A debate ensued and the States adjourned at 6.20 p.m.
