Extraordinary Session of the States – Standing Order 4(2).
The Bailiff informed the House that, having received a representation from seven elected members of the States to convene a meeting in extraordinary session to consider the Anatomy and Human Tissue (Jersey) Law, 1984 (Appointed Day) Act, 1985, he had, in accordance with Standing Order 4(2), convened the present Sitting.
Suspension of Standing Order No. 18.
THE STATES, adopting a Proposition of the Public Health Committee, suspended Standing Order No. 18 in order to allow the Proposition of that Committee regarding the Anatomy and Human Tissue (Jersey) Law, 1984 (Appointed Day) Act, 1985 to be considered at the present Sitting.
