THE STATES, adopting a proposition of the Finance and Economics Committee, referred to paragraphs 11 and 12 of the policy statement of the Finance and Economics Committee on the Regulation of Undertakings and Development (Jersey) Law 1973, as amended, as published in Appendix 3 to the Strategic Policy Review and Action Plan 1994 (P.74/94), and expressed their support for the Committee's revised policy that, with effect from 1st January 1995, and for a two year proving period, applications from non-local
contractors or sub-contractors for a licence under Part II of the said Law should be granted only if those applicants offer a price advantage of at least five per cent.
