THE STATES adjourned for lunch and reassembled at 2.30 p.m. under the Presidency of the
Greffier of the States, Geoffrey Henry Charles Coppock, Esquire.

Senator John Stephen Rothwell was present for part of the debate on agriculture and retired from the meeting thereafter due to illness.
THE STATES commenced consideration of sub- paragraph (d) and accepted the amended amendment of Deputy Gary Matthews of St. Brelade (Second and Fifth Amendments) that in clause (iv) of sub-paragraph (d) after the figures 9.5 there
should be inserted the words , with the
following addition -
