THE STATES assembled to welcome The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Richard Nichols.
The Lord Mayor entered the Chamber preceded by Mr. Alderman and Sheriff Michael Oliver.
Senator Richard Joseph Shenton, the senior member, welcomed the Lord Mayor on behalf of the States. Senator Pierre Francois Horsfall, President of the Policy and Resources Committee, outlined the links between the Island and the City of London.
The Lord Mayor responded, thanking the States for their welcome. THE STATES rose at 10.25 a.m.
