Review of financial legislation and regulatory systems
THE STATES, adopting a resolution of Senator Pierre François Horsfall, requested the Bailiff to inform the Secretary of State for the Home Department that the States of Jersey wished to protest in strong terms at the Secretary of State's failure to observe long established constitutional convention by announcing in the House of Commons the undertaking of a review of the financial legislation and regulatory systems of the Crown Dependencies, before proper consultation with the Insular Authorities.
