THE STATES, adopting a proposition of the Planning and Environment Committee referred to their Act dated 8th December 1998 in which they approved in principle the conversion and redevelopment of Haut de la Garenne, St.  Martin, for the purpose of establishing a residential multi-purpose centre for visiting and locally organised groups, and -

(a)  approved Drawing Nos. 97-837-100/101/102/103/104/ 105/106/107/110/111/112/113/114 and 115 showing the refurbishment and redevelopment of Haut de la Garenne, St. Martin as an accommodation and activity centre; and

THE STATES, subject to the sanction of Her Most Excellent Majesty in Council, adopted a Law entitled the Water Pollution (Amendment) (Jersey) Law 2002.

Cottage Homes Committee: transfer of functions to Housing Committee - P.104/2002 Comments - P.104/2002 Com.

THE STATES, adopting a proposition of the Housing Committee referred to their Act dated 11th September 1996 in which they agreed that the functions of the Cottage Homes Committee should be transferred to the Housing Committee, and -

( a ) approved the draft Transfer of Functions (Housing Committee) (Jersey) Act 200- attached as

Appendix  A to the report of the Housing Committee which accompanied the proposition; and

(b ) agreed that the Victoria Cottage Homes and the King George  V Cottage Homes should henceforth be

administered and managed by the Housing Committee in accordance with the general principles set out in Appendix  B of the said report.

Transfer of Functions (Housing Committee) (Jersey) Act 2002

THE STATES, in pursuance of Article 29 of the States of Jersey Law 1966 as amended, made an Act entitled the Transfer of Functions (Housing Committee) (Jersey) Act 2002 the purpose of which was to transfer the functions of the Cottage Homes Committee to the Housing Committee, to come into force on 18th September 2002.

Public Employees Contributory Retirement Scheme: Committee of Management- P.135/2002

THE STATES, adopting a proposition of the Human Resources Committee, and in accordance with Regulation  3 (5) of the Public Employees (Contributory Retirement Scheme) (General) (Jersey) Regulations 1989, as amended, approved the appointment of Deputy Peter Nicholas Troy of St.  Brelade as an employer representative on the Committee of Management for the period ending 31st December 2003, in place of Mrs. Evelyn Mabel Pullin.
