Population Policy - P.101/2002 Amendment - P.101/2002 Amd.
THE STATES resumed consideration of the amendment of Deputy Michael Edward Vibert of St. Brelade to the proposition of the Policy and Resources Committee concerning Population Policy that for paragraph (f) of the proposition there be substituted the following paragraph -
" ( f) to agree in principle that there should be a policy of nil net annual inward migration, this policy to be reviewed five years hence;"
and in paragraph (h) for the words "does not exceed 200 persons" there be substituted the words "remains at zero" and, after discussion, rejected the amendment.
