States members' A1. The Committee, with reference to its Act No. A10 of 3rd October 2003, remuneration: received the following draft Report and Propositions relating to States members' proposed remuneration -
abolition of
means testing/ (a) p roposed abolition of means testing - the Committee recalled that it proposed had agreed to support the recommendation of the Remuneration Sub- establishment of Committee that means testing be abolished with effect from 1st January independent 2004; and
review body.
1240/3(70) (b) proposed establishment of an independent Review Body - the
Committee recalled that it had agreed the terms of reference for the Ex.Off. Review Body as recommended by the Remuneration Sub-Committee. Pub.Ed.
States (2) The Committee, having considered the draft Report and Propositions, approved them T.O.S. and requested that they be lodged au Greffe' through the intermediary of the Finance C.I.Aud. and Economics Committee. The Committee also requested that its previous projet on F.E.C.C. States Members' remuneration (P.238/2002), lodged on 10th December 2002, be
withdrawn.
The Greffier of the States was directed to send a copy of this Act to the Finance and Economics Committee accordingly.
