THE STATES resumed consideration of the proposition of the Housing Committee regarding amendments to the Public and Private Sector Housing Rental Subsidy Schemes with effect from 1st January 2004.

THE STATES rejected a proposition of Deputy Geoffrey Peter Southern of St. Helier that the matter be referred back to the Housing Committee.

the Public and Private Sector Housing Rental Subsidy Schemes with effect from 1st January 2004, that –

( a ) rendered ineligible for rental subsidy those applicants who either solely , or with partners, own liquid

or fixed assets with a value equal to or in excess of £50,000 as set out in Section 3 of the report of the Housing Committee dated 3rd June 2003.

Training and Employment Partnership: disbandment – P.76/2003

THE STATES, adopting a proposition of the Economic Development Committee, referred to their Acts dated 23rd November 1994 and 5th December 2002 concerning the establishment of an agency known as the Training and Employment Partnership and agreed that the agency should be disbanded with immediate effect.
