The Committee, with reference to its Act No. A2 of 23rd September 2004, Finances received a memorandum, dated 9th December 2004, a proposed amendment to the Administration Draft Public Finances (Jersey) Law 200- and a draft accompanying report from the (Jersey) Law Greffier of the States.

with financial The Committee recalled that, following the lodging of the draft Law (P.180/2004) implications. on 26th October 2004, the Law Draftsman had been requested to prepare the 447(1) necessary amendment. It was advised that the Finance and Economics Committee
had requested a debate on the Law on 18th January 2005 and, in this accord, it was L.D. recognised that it would be helpful if this amendment could be lodged on Tuesday, Pub Ed. 14th December 2004.
The Committee approved the proposed amendment to the Draft Public Finances (Jersey) Law 200- and the accompanying report and requested the Greffier of the States to lodge them "au Greffe" at the earliest opportunity.
