Remuneration A1. The Committee, with reference to Act No. A12 of its meeting held on 5th Review Board – March 2004, held an extraordinary meeting to discuss the Remuneration Working Recruitment of Party's proposals for the recruitment of a Chairman and Members of the Chairman and Remuneration Review Board.

1240/3(73) The Committee noted that only five responses to the recent notice in the Jersey
Evening Post. The Committee was content that is would be reasonable to re- Ex.Off. advertise the positions at its earliest convenience and that the original applicants
should be notified of the situation and guaranteed that their applications would be
considered after the new closing date.
The Committee Clerk was directed to take the necessary action.
Special A2. The Committee, with reference to Act No. A13 of its meeting held on 5th Committee on March 2004, recalled that it had agreed, in its shared membership capacity of the the Composition Special Committee on the Composition and Election to the States, to schedule a and Election to meeting of the latter without delay.

Meeting On consultation, the Committee agreed that the 29th March 2004 would be an arrangements appropriate date and that a statement notifying both States members and members 1240/22/1(13) of the public should be made in the States Assembly and the Jersey Evening Post
respectively. The Committee further agreed that the statement and notice should Ex.Off. indicate that the newly constituted Committee would be discussing and reviewing
the Committee's future work programme that may be of interest to the members of
the public who wished to attend, but would not be making any firm decisions or
recommendations on the way forward
The Greffier of the States was directed to make the necessary arrangements on behalf of the Committee.
