States of Jersey A1.  The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. A6 of 11th December 2009 Law: Quorum in received a draft Comment in respect of the proposition entitled: States of Jersey Law: the States Quorum in the States, lodged au Greffe' on 17th November 2009 by Deputy T.M. P.194/2009 Pitman of St. Helier (P.194/2009 refers). Deputy M. Tadier was not present for the 450/1(13) consideration of this item.

Having considered the draft Comment in respect of P.194/2009, the Committee approved the same and requested that it be presented to the States in early course.

The Committee Clerk was directed to take the necessary action.

Rôle of the Dean A2.  The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. A11 of 11th December 2009, within the States received  a  draft  Report  to  the  States  concerning  religious  representation  in of Jersey. parliaments in other jurisdictions. Deputy M.R. Higgins was not present for the 1240/6(56) consideration of this item.

Having considered the draft Report and associated foreword, the Committee approved the same and requested that it be presented to the States in the Report series.

The Committee Clerk was directed to take the necessary action.
