The Minister for Home Affairs made a statement regarding the suspension of the Chief Officer of the States of Jersey Police.
THE STATES noted that, in accordance with Article 9(4) of the Police Force (Jersey) Law 1974, the discussion of this matter had to take place in camera. In accordance with Standing Order 82, the Deputy Bailiff ordered all strangers to withdraw from the precincts of the States and the doors of the Chamber to be closed for the duration of the discussion.
