The Deputy Bailiff announced that the Ministry of Justice had advised that Her Majesty The Queen had approved  the  appointment  of  General  Sir  John  Chalmers  McColl  as  the  Island's  next  Lieutenant Governor and that he would be taking up his appointment in September 2011.
