Retirement of His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor (see Official Report)
The Chief Minister, Senator Terence Augustine Le Sueur , on behalf of all States members, paid tribute to the work and service of His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant-General Sir Andrew Peter Ridgway, K.B.E., C.B. and Lady Ridgway during his term of office in Jersey and wished them a happy retirement.
His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant-General Sir Andrew Peter Ridgway, K.B.E., C.B. responded to Senator Le Sueur 's speech and expressed his and Lady Ridgway's gratitude to the people of the Island during his term of office.

North St. Helier Masterplan P.73/2011
THE STATES resumed consideration of a proposition of the Minister for Planning and Environment regarding the adoption of the North St. Helier Masterplan (P.73/2011) and paragraph 3 of an amendment of the Deputy of St. Mary .
THE STATES, adopting a proposition of the Deputy of St. Mary , agreed to grant him leave to withdraw his amendment.
THE STATES, adopting paragraph 5 of an amendment of the Deputy of St. Mary to the proposition of the Minister for Planning and Environment (P.73/2011), agreed that after the words "an agreed development framework." There should be inserted the words –
"To deliver the Masterplan, the Minister shall, in consultation with the Constable of St. Helier and the Deputies of the affected districts, set up a body or bodies of officers and politicians to steer the process, and this body or bodies shall engage in genuine consultation with residents of the area of the Masterplan to establish the detailed priorities for improvements to the public realm, and for such other improvements that the consultation process comes up with, to be funded from the funding streams as mentioned in paragraph 4, and from other funding which may be made available.".
THE STATES, adopting a proposition, as amended, of the Minister for Planning and Environment, endorsed his intention to adopt the North St. Helier Masterplan dated 10th May 2011 as an agreed development framework.
