- to ratify the Protocol amending the Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the States of Jersey for the Exchange of Information Relating to Taxes, signed at Washington on 4th November 2002, as set out in the Appendix to the report of the Chief Minister dated 2nd May 2014.

THE STATES, having been informed that the relevant scrutiny panel had indicated that it did not wish to scrutinise the draft legislation, adopted Regulations 1 to 6 and the Schedule.
THE STATES commenced consideration of Regulation 7 and an amendment of Senator Sir Philip Martin Bailhache that –
- in paragraph (4) after the words "of the Agreement, except" there should be inserted the words ", if an Act under paragraph (7) isin force,";
- after paragraph (6) the following paragraph should be added –
"(7) A reporting Jersey financial institution shall be required to comply with paragraph (5)
or (6) only from such date that may be specified by Act of the States.".

THE STATES, in pursuance of Articles 8 and 18 of the Income Support (Jersey) Law 2007, made Regulations entitled the Income Support (Special Payments) (Long-Term Care) (Jersey) Regulations 2014.
Draft Income Support (Amendment No. 11) (Jersey) Regulations 201- P.71/2014
THE STATES commenced consideration of the Draft Income Support (Amendment No. 11) (Jersey) Regulations 201- and adopted the principles.
THE STATES, having been informed that the relevant scrutiny panel had indicated that it did not wish to scrutinise the draft legislation, adopted Regulations 1 to 4.
THE STATES, in pursuance of Articles 5 and 18 of the Income Support (Jersey) Law 2007, made Regulations entitled the Income Support (Amendment No. 11) (Jersey) Regulations 2014.

THE STATES, adopting a proposition of the Minister for Social Security, agreed, in accordance with Standing Order 26(7), to reduce the minimum lodging period in respect of the proposition entitled Draft Social Security (Amendment of Law No. 7) (Jersey) Regulations 201-' (P.70/2014).
