Commissioner  A1.  The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. B5 of 8th November 2016, for Standards  gave further consideration as to whether it was minded to accede to a request of the (Jersey) Law  Chief Minister to defer the debate on the draft Commissioner for Standards (Jersey) 201-  Law 201- (P.87/2016) (the draft Law') to give him time to discuss his amendment (P.87/2016):  thereto with the Committee. The Committee recalled that the debate on the draft Amendment.  Law had already been delayed at the request of the Chief Minister, and was due to 1497/99(1)  be considered by the States on 15th November 2016.

Having given the matter due consideration, the Committee reluctantly agreed to defer the matter by 2 weeks to the 29th November 2016. The Committee instructed the Greffier to move P.87/2016 to this date and to notify the Chief Minister of the change.
