JT (Jersey) Limited: administrative charges P.16/2017

THE STATES commenced consideration of a proposition of Deputy Geoffrey Peter Southern of St. Helier entitled JT (Jersey) Limited: administrative charges' (P.16/2017) and, adopting the proposition, requested the Minister for Treasury and Resources, as the shareholder representative, to urge JT (Jersey) Limited not to implement planned administrative charges for customers wishing to continue to receive paper bills or make non-direct debit payments.

THE STATES commenced consideration of a proposition of the Chief Minister entitled Jersey Financial Services Commission: re-appointment of Commissioner' (P.19/2017) and, adopting an amendment of the Chief Minister (P.19/2017 Amd.), agreed that, for the words "5 years", there should be substituted the words "4 years".

THE STATES, having resumed consideration of the proposition of the Chief Minister, as amended, and in pursuance  of  Article 3  of  the  Financial  Services  Commission  (Jersey)  Law  1998,  re-appointed Mr. Ian Wright, A.C.A. as a Commissioner of the Jersey Financial Services Commission with effect from the date of the States' debate for a period of 4 years.
