Minutes. A1. The Minutes of the meeting held on 16th October 2018 (Part A and Part B),
having previously been circulated, were taken as read and were confirmed.
Forthcoming A2. The Committee received a list of forthcoming business for debate by the States business for Assembly at its meetings to be held on 20th November 2018 and 4th December 2018. debate by the
States The Committee recalled that it had already presented a comment on the Proposition of Assembly. Deputy G.C.U. Guida of St. Lawrence, Public Impact of Propositions: proposed 465/1(210) amendments to Standing Orders' (P.96/2018) and decided that it did not wish, at this
juncture, to comment on any other items for debate on those dates. However, it was suggested that the Comité des Connétable s and the Minister for Home Affairs might be reminded to comment on the amendment of Senator S.C. Ferguson to P.96/2018, which mooted that every proposition should also be accompanied, where appropriate, by an estimate of the cost and practicality of policing, or enforcing the substance of the proposition.
However, it was ultimately determined that it was a matter for those aforementioned to decide whether to comment or not.
