Amendment  A1.  The Committee, with reference to its Minute No. B1 of 8th January 2019, (No. 38) of the  recalled that it had been proposed that Standing Order 141A of the States of Jersey Standing  should be amended to enable members of the Environment, Housing and Infrastructure Orders of the  Scrutiny Panel to be the Chairman, or members, of the Planning Committee.

States of

Jersey.  In that regard, the Committee received Amendment (No. 38) of the Standing Orders of 450/99/2(5)  the States of Jersey, which deleted Standing Order 141A(2)(c) to give effect to this

proposal. The Amendment also deleted Standing Orders 117(2D), 117(17A) and 117 (17B) as these Standing Orders were no longer required.

The Committee approved Amendment (No. 38) of the Standing Orders of the States of Jersey and the report to accompany the same and instructed the Assistant Greffier to arrange for it to be lodged au Greffe for debate by the States at the earliest opportunity.
